Our Mission

Always a Brother Foundation was created to honor and support all of the military police and firemen brothers that I have worked with personally over the years. The purpose of this foundation is to let people know that there is Always a Brother here to help you overcome the struggles you may be going through in your life. Whether it is substance abuse, addiction, or mental health problems, I hope this foundation serves as an outlet for people to reach out and get the help they need.

About Me

Adam Christie

"Hi, I'm Adam for those that dont know me. Alcohol and drugs have impacted my life negatively on many occasions. I am still on my path to finding balance and possibly sobriety. As I am working towards my goals, I hope to improve the lives of those who are currently struggling with addiction and to support those who have lost someone close to them from it. The mission of "Always a Brother" is simple: we want to raise awareness about substance abuse, support families facing addiction, and raise funds to support our brothers who need it. My aim is to provide a space where brothers can step forward and know that they always have someone to talk to, regardless of the issue. The scholarship fund is open to anyone in need of support. If you need help, we encourage you to reach out and share your story."

Jonesy Grant

Last year I lost the best dog anyone could ever ask for. If Harley taught me anything, it’s that everybody loves a good boy. So to commemorate him, I am going to pay back a debt to a couple of people that took care of him on each of my six month deployments. Their kindness allowed me to keep my best friend for 12 solid years.

Unfortunately in 2020, one of my good buddies lost his life in a motorcycle accident. If anyone knew Jones, he was always having fun whether it was video games, riding his motorcycle, wrestling in the living room, or shooting guns. He was the type of person that wouldn’t shy away from a fight, but at the same time, he would give you the shirt off his back. Our love for beer and call of duty brought us together when he moved upstairs from me in the dorms at Edwards Air Force Base. When I decided to get a dog (even though it wasn’t permitted in our dorms), he would help me with Harley when I wasn’t around. They were very fond of each other so when I asked him to watch over Harles Barkley while I was gone, he assured me he would. But first he had to get his permission slip signed by his girlfriend (thanks McQuade).

Now it’s my turn to return the favor. I would like to start a college grant in honor of my buddy Alec Jones. It will be used to provide support for families affected by alcohol/substance abuse and to allow our brothers to get the proper help they need. My first goal is to raise money towards his daughter's college fund. This will allow people who served with Jonesy to pay him back for being such a good person through contributions to her education. Through alcohol we once bonded, and now through awareness, I say my final goodbye.
